Enlightenment and Thinking of the Development of Virtual Power Plant

Based on the analysis of relevant research on virtual power plants both domestically and internationally, virtual power plants can be divided into two categories according to their external power market environment: based on technical goals and based on market goals, which determines the technical and commercial research directions of virtual power plants. Taking Hangzhou as an example, this paper focuses on the prospect of virtual power plants, calculates and analyzes the market demand and prospects of virtual power plants in Hangzhou City, outlines the advantages and risks faced by Hangzhou in developing virtual power plants, comprehensively considers the development trend of power systems and distributed resources, and proposes relevant suggestions to promote the development of virtual power plants.
