Design of ACO variable structure controller for brushless direct current motor

PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) control algorithm is often used to control the speed and position of brushless direct current motors. In this paper, according to the basic structure and operation principle of brushless direct current motor, a double closed-loop mathematical model with the internal loop current hysteresis and the speed outer loop of brushless direct current motor is established. ACO (Ant Colony Optimization) algorithm is introduced into PID control. Using the variable structure of ACO algorithm, the PID parameters in the double closed-loop model of brushless direct current motor are optimized. Finally, the simulation results show that this method has obvious advantages over the traditional PID control in terms of precision and stability, and effectively improves the performance of the brushless direct current motor under the disturbance load.
