Design of Face Recognition System Based on Linux System and OpenCV

With the continuous development of social informatization, computers and networks are increasingly penetrating into our lives. The traditional company attendance registration has become increasingly unsuitable for the progress and development of the times. In order to better solve this problem, this article is based on the Linux system and uses the OpenCV open-source library as the core to design face recognition systems in these environments. The hardware of this system takes the ARM board as the core, combines USB cameras and sensors to collect face images, uses QT as the human-computer interface, and uses Baidu AI Cloud database as the face collection database. At the same time, research was conducted on the design principles of facial recognition systems, with a focus on exploring technical issues such as feature extraction and facial recognition. The system can better improve the attendance system of dormitories or companies, and has great potential for application.
