Envisioning India's Energy Future: Predictive Models for Power Generation Trends

An Accurate analysis and forecasting of power generation have become more important for efficient energy planning and sustainable development as a result of the rising global demand for energy and the growing worries over climate change. This study tries to examine and forecast the power generation trends in various Indian states while taking into account a number of variables, including the availability of renewable energy sources, the consumption of fossil fuels, demographic changes, and climate variations. The study starts with a thorough compilation of historical data on power generation from various sources, including both traditional and alternative energy sources. In order to understand the temporal and spatial differences in power generation across various states, exploratory data analysis approaches are used. Future power generation patterns are predicted for each state using machine learning models that include regression, time series analysis, and ensemble learning. To provide precise and trustworthy forecasts, the models account for the dynamic interactions of variables such seasonal variations, economic development, and policy changes. The analysis also highlights crucial elements that have a major impact on electricity generation in particular states. The study's conclusions are a useful tool for informing India's energy policy in the direction of a more robust and sustainable energy system.
