Ensuring Concavity in PRR utility function for TeraHertz Communications

Analyzing network layer parameters in THz communications encounters a substantial challenge due to the unique characteristics of the wireless channel. Within these parameters, the Packet Reception Ratio (PRR) stands out for its complex nature under theoretical scrutiny. Optimizing PRR not only boosts throughput but also minimizes interference and reduces transmission collisions. Theoretical formulations of PRR typically involve a non-concave function, adding intricacy to the problem. This paper aims to simplify this complexity by transforming both the PRR and transmission power function into a discretely concave structure. This transformation enables the application of efficient algorithms capable of identifying globally optimal solutions. The integration of networking terms plays a crucial role in this transformation, streamlining the complexities inherent in the PRR optimization process.
