Developing and Implementing Effective E-learning Software for Mechanics: A Study of FET and C#

This paper explores the development and implementation of E-learning software based on finite element technology (FET) and C# in teaching mechanics. Digital resources, represented by colorful nephograms, were obtained using FET and integrated into the existing curriculum system to develop the E-learning software using C# language. Teaching experiments were conducted in two classes, and teaching evaluations were conducted to assess the effectiveness of the software. Survey data collected indicate that the E-learning software was effective in enhancing the quality of teaching and learning experience in mechanics. The majority of students in both classes agreed that the software helped them understand the course content, comprehend complex concepts, interact with other students, stay motivated, and achieve better learning outcomes. This study highlights the potential of E-learning software as an effective instructional tool in higher education.
