Meetings and Conferencing

With Microsoft Teams one can easily schedule meetings, live events, and webinars where attendees can join from anywhere using the Teams desktop app, mobile app, or browser. There are three different ways to meet in Teams: meetings, live events, and webinars. Anyone can attend a Teams meeting, webinar, or live event for free as licenses are not required for attendees. On the other hand, people who need to organize, schedule, and host meetings or live events do need a license. One can create two types of meetings in Teams: private meetings and channel meetings. The Scheduling Assistant is a common feature people use in Outlook when scheduling meetings, especially when scheduling with people within their organization. Using video for Teams meetings has become a common practice for many organizations. Audio Conferencing in Microsoft 365 and Office 365 enables users to dial in to meetings from their phones.
