Electric power inspection equipment: overview, challenges, and applications

In this paper, we provide a comprehensive review of electric power inspection equipment to promote technological innovation in electrical inspection equipment. We review the research status of electrical inspection equipment from three aspects: inspection equipment types and their pros and cons. Specifically, we describe the characteristics of inspection equipment from the perspective of specific working conditions and elaborate on scene requirements. We emphasize the technical status of electrical detection equipment and conduct a rational analysis of technical issues such as accuracy and efficiency. We also identify some key challenges and predict future development trends. Finally, we discuss the mechanical structure, control technology, and image processing of inspection equipment.
