UAV System Reliability Test based on Random Interference Optimization

This study presents a comprehensive overview of a single UAV system, the UAV system reliability model, and scenario construction for reliability testing. The reliability modeling utilizes finite Markov chain embedding to evaluate mission reliability in UAV clusters. The experiment section illustrates the reliability test scenario construction for a UAV cluster performing a ground attack mission and analyzes the simulation results. The findings emphasize impact of mission routes and formation composition on mission reliability, providing insights for optimizing UAV mission planning. The study focuses on the formation and encirclement control of a multi-UAV swarm system, considering both leader UAVs for formation control and follower UAVs for encirclement. The proposed method allows flexibility by adjusting the number of leaders and followers, transforming the problem into a collaborative control issue. This research work emphasizes the importance of using the quadcopters for their agility and efficiency in various mission scenarios. Furthermore, the research explores the challenges and opportunities in on-demand drone wireless systems, considering communication throughput and energy consumption optimization. The study investigates the use of UAVs as flying base stations for the in-flight wireless communication and evaluates the impact of control points, coverage, and time delay. The results showed that using multiple routes significantly increased mission reliability compared to a single route and reduced exposure to threat areas. Regardless of route type, increasing the number of clusters showed an upward trend in mission reliability.
