Design of a Configurable DC/DC Converter for High Voltage High Power IGBT Driver

In response to the characteristics of high voltage and high power IGBT drive applications, a configurable DC/DC converter is designed using 0.18 µm BCD technology. The paper analyzes the operational principles of the circuit and elaborates on the functions and topology design of each sub module. The circuit employs a unique two-stage voltage regulation structure, eliminating output voltage fluctuations caused by pulse output characteristics. Test results indicate that parameters such as circuit startup time, shutdown time, and output voltage accuracy meet the design requirements.
