Spectral monitoring system based on TCS34725 color sensor

In order to solve the lack of spectral detection means in the lighting industry. A lighting monitoring system integrating optical real-time detection and data monitoring is designed based on the TCS34725 color sensor. The system uses the lamps as the monitoring carrier and the color sensor as the spectrum detection interface. The acquired data is processed by spectral algorithms and monitored through a visualized interface in the host computer. The experimental results show that using the test data of the precision spectral radiometer as a reference, the error of the sensor's excellent coordinates under low brightness environment is less than 5.9 SDCM and the error under high brightness is less than 3 SDCM. The residual of sensor's output spectrum reading is less than 0.15. The mean error of spectral residual value is less than 8%. In general, the system has a small error range, high sensitivity, low cost, simple operation and good stability.
