Dynamic Power Management of Wire Energy Harvester Powered Wireless Sensor Node

Wireless sensor network (WSN) is widely utilized in the field of information industry. Energy management has emerged as a significant concern in the research field. In this research, we introduce dynamic power management (DPM) techniques for a wireless sensor node powered by a wire energy harvester. Experimental studies were carried out to justify the effect of energy management of the proposed method. The results indicated that the power consumption of the node in low-power states is significantly reduced to 28% and 12 % of its original value, and the energy harvested can effectively power a node platform. The proposed method shows great potential in the field of energy management for WSN.
