GST Implementation in India: Unveiling Multifaceted Sentiments Through In-Depth Analysis

In this paper, we have analyzed the public reaction on the launch of GST (Goods and Service tax) through the sentiment analysis. Sentiment analysis could be done by downloading tweets from the twitter as every day there are millions/billions of users are posting tweets to share their opinion and emotions towards any topic. However, these tweets come with irrelevant information which could be removed using text classification techniques. In this paper, we have extracted small data set from twitter to perform sentiment classification techniques by applying Naïve Bayes classifiers to find how many people are satisfied with the new change.
