Activity Based Travel Demanding Model Using Apache Kafka and Spark

Transportation systems provide environmentally sustainable, inexpensive, convenient, and time-efficient modes of transportation. Indian commuters think that India's public transportation system is insufficient and troubled by long-term problems. In India, using public transportation can be very difficult, especially in remote areas. The purpose of this project is to build a successful model for providing user security to people who utilize public transportation. By combining big data\ technology and RFID cards, the model will make transportation safe and traceable. This project's performance might have a big social impact. The project might encourage more people to use public transportation by making it reliable and secure. This project's expected outcome is a working prototype of an efficient model for offering user protection to persons who use public transportation. The initiative was motivated by multiple reports of harassment, assault, and even murder on Indian public transportation. The project team is dedicated to creating a solution that will make public transportation a safer and more accessible alternative for everyone. One of the drawbacks of this research is that it only focuses on public transportation such as buses, auto-rickshaws, and E-rickshaws but not on trains. This project has the potential to significantly contribute to public transportation security. The initiative can help people feel safer using public transportation by providing a more efficient and effective approach to public transportation security. This may result in more ridership as well as reduced traffic on the roads.
