Security Issue Reviewed and Resolved: Heart Disease Detection

The Internet of Things (IoT) is one of the most promising technologies that have taken industrial and academic attention over the past few years. This technology brings new opportunity in many sectors such as home automation, transportation, energy, healthcare and so on. However, IoT-based healthcare suffers from numerous security concerns due to the complex environment and nature of the deployed devices. This work aims to provide a taxonomy of security in Medical Internet of Things (MIoT) which consists of a) i) security concerns in MIoT zone, ii) security threats detection in MIoT, iii) emerging security threats at system layer-wise. b) proposed multi-level risk assessment for heart failure using C4.5 decision tree classifier. This work helps the novice researcher to understand security risks in MIOT and early prediction of disease.
