System Analysis of Implementing 5G in an Ambulance

This paper develops a conceptual model of a 5G connected ambulance. The model defines the various systems engineering (SE) steps required to achieve the 5G connected state and the new processes that need to be developed to support this transition. The paper also calls out the impact on stakeholders such as the patient, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) staff, Emergency Room physicians and nurses.
