IoT-Enhanced Driver Training Simulators for Real-Time Performance Monitoring and Analysis

The proposed system integrates driver training simulations with Internet of Things (IoT) technologies to improve driver training plans by monitoring and analyzing learners’ performance in real-time. The proposed system, which uses IoT sensors and data collection devices in driving simulators, may record a trainee’s driving behavior and performance, according to the research. These IoT-enabled simulators may measure acceleration, speed, braking, steering control, traffic law compliance, and driving skills. With the help of advanced data processing and analytics methods, the data collected is processed and evaluated instantly. The trainers and learners can receive real-time evaluations of their driving skills, identify problem areas, and evaluate their growth over time. In addition, the system can compile comprehensive records that detail the progress of each learner driver and suggest areas in which learners might improve. To improve the learning process of future drivers by using IoT technologies in driving simulations and to monitor and evaluate their progress in real-time, learner drivers will be better prepared to make smart decisions when behind the steering wheel. The research looks at how integrating IoT data with virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) components may provide for a more interactive and immersive learning experience.
