Study on Control Scheme of Isolation Valve for Containment Ventilation System in Nuclear Power Plant

The containment isolation valve of containment ventilation system in nuclear power plant is the key equipment to avoid the release of radioactivity substances. In the process from pneumatic valve to electric valve, some problems are faced. This paper puts forward two control strategies with different motor action mechanism according to the principle of valve. Based on analyzing and evaluating the control schemes, the reasonable and feasible implementation schemes for the future control mode of containment isolation valve is offered in this paper. It also provides ideas for product design and control interface design.
