Abstract:

We present a tunable repetition rate frequency comb realized by cascaded electro-optical modulators with a high nonlinear AlGaAs-on-isolator waveguide. 18-26.5 GHz comb spacing tunability with broadband spectra was achieved. All the devices can be integrated onto a single chip, which makes this work useful for many applications.
