Microwave photonics assisted by machine learning

The combination of machine learning with microwave photonics has provided advanced solutions that were previously unattainable. Recent advances are presented with a focus on using machine learning and deep learning techniques to assist microwave photonics in sensing with thermal interference mitigation and multi-parameter sensing capabilities.
