Research and Evaluate the Impact of Electric Vehicle Integration in Microgrid on Bach Long Vy Island, Vietnam

Green energy is a significant concern recently attracting worldwide attention. Using renewable energy sources and vehicles such as Electric Vehicles (EVs) has solved the problem of environmental pollution. However, the integration of electric vehicles into the Microgrid (MG) has caused some negative impacts on the way the grid operates. Bach Long Vy Island is one of Vietnam's most beautiful tourist islands. Besides, this is the Island with the most modern MG in Southeast Asia, so in the future, the number of EVs will increase on the Island. The article focuses on building an MG model that integrates electric vehicle loads in MATLAB software. Research the ability to meet load demand based on analysis of parameters such as voltage quality, frequency, and power. Several EV charging scenarios were tested based on Vinfast's actual charging model. Thereby, review and evaluate the feasibility of MG with the development of EVs in Vietnam shortly.
