Validation of a Measuring Model as a Key Aspect in the Adoption of E-Government in Developing Countries

Many countries worldwide have adopted Egovernment as a result of its advantages. However, there isn’t enough research to support a measurement model for gauging Electronic Government (E-government) uptake in developing nations. The objective of this research is to create and Verify a measurement model that will evaluate the adoption of electronic government in developing countries from the viewpoint of the people living there. The data was utilized to conduct normality testing, descriptive analysis of latent variables, constructs validity, convergent validity, average variance extracted (AVE), reliability test, discriminant validity, heterotrait monotrait ratio (HTMT), and collinearity test data was gathered from a total of 560 participants through the utilization of a survey questionnaire. A measuring model was employed in Iraq for the purpose of validation. This study further substantiates the measurement model by means of empirical evidence. The utilization of structural equation modeling (SEM) and careful analysis of the data demonstrates A set of nine constructs, 48 items, has been deemed valid for the purpose of conducting an investigation of the Electronic government implementation in emerging nations. The survey tool presented herein offers a valuable collection of improved measures that can be effectively employed in analogous settings to examine the implementation of electronic government.
