Wireless mesh networks (WMNs) are becoming increasingly famous because of their easy deployment with minimum infrastructure and occasional operational prices. As a result, routing protocols are a crucial thing of WMNs, and performance metrics, including throughput, throughput equity, and packet shipping ratio, have been extensively used to compare routing protocols. In this technical abstract, we evaluate the overall performance comparison of routing protocols for cell WMNs in terms of the metrics above.
