The Effect of Vulnerability in Facial Biometric Authentication

The increasing importance of face recognition systems today, with applications ranging from access controls to secure systems and electronic devices, has raised concerns about their security. This apprehension is particularly heightened due to the emergence of spooting attacks, where individuals try to illegitimately bypass biometric systems. Our research specifically explores vulnerabilities in biometric authentication, focusing on the growing threat of spoormg attacks on face recognition systems through video-based deception. Using a study conducted on the Replay-attack dataset, we achieved an impressive accuracy of 96.93%. This study offers useful insights on how to improve the robustness of facial recognition systems against spooting assaults, with an emphasis on practical efficiency.
