Laser Locator for Underwater Object Detection

The developed laser locator is intended for use in monitoring underwater objects and structures during inspection of technical works, as well as in monitoring the condition of the underwater part of offshore platforms, the condition of pipelines, cables, and other underwater objects. In the design of the locator, a new system for forming an image of an object using a reflected laser radiation signal in various planes is proposed. This allows you to define the item’s outline and identify it. In addition, you can determine changes on the surface of the object under study by the change in the recorded image (formation of a diffraction pattern). This allows you to determine various damages on the objects under study.
