A Lightweight Security with Key Distribution Method in Mobile Ad-hoc Networks

A Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) is the best network system in wireless communication because it has the best properties to connect devices without the need for extra infrastructure and dynamic access. A MANET is used too much by devices, laptops, pc, and any other gadgets but in an insecure network. A better security strategy can give the best protection and fast speed without giving time to attackers in insecure MANET. In this paper, the Lightweight Security with Key Distribution Method in Mobile Ad-hoc Network (LS-KMM) method is combined with the Diffie-Hellman method and discrete distribution method. The authorized access system is concerned with the key exchange method of Diffie-Hellman to manage the right access by exchanging secure keys between users and a strong security scheme achieved by the discrete distribution method at a lightweight speed for stopping attacks in MANET. The experimental test result presents that the LS-KMM method is achieved better than existing methods, DES, 3DES, conventional AES, modified AES, RC4, Blow-fish, and RSA in the conditions of encryption process time, running time, and the avalanche effect.
