Blind Hurdle Stick: Android Integrated Voice-based Intimation Via GPS with Panic Alert System

There are currently many blind assistive systems in use around the world, but none that are designed specifically to guide the visually impaired and keep tabs on their every move in case of an emergency or to locate them as part of a group that has become disoriented. In this study, we introduce a voice-based, GPS/GSM cooperative blind stick with an integrated emergency alarm system for navigating obstacles. A pair of glasses that are connected to an Android app can guide the visually impaired through the system. The programme generates voice instructions in either Hindi, Kannada, or English based on the location of obstacles, allowing the blind person to move freely throughout their surroundings. In addition, a panic button or voice commands make it possible for a blind person to send an SMS to a predetermined number without ever having to physically touch the phone. The blind-assistive app uses GPS and GSM to determine location, then transmits that information to a server. By using yet another android software that indicates the user's present location on Google Map, a blind person's every step may be tracked and watched. The system's primary goal is to give the visually impaired with an efficient and straightforward navigational tool that contributes to artificial vision by illuminating the dynamic and static items in their immediate surroundings.
