A Q-NF Pairing in NOMA-IoT System Under Im-SIC

In this paper, we have proposed a Quadrature Near-Far (Q-NF) pairing scheme and obtained the lower bound conditions for optimizing the power allocation (PA) coefficients in presence of imperfect successive interference cancellation (Im-SIC) for non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) based internet of things (IoTs) system. This paper also discusses the challenges faced during the IoT device pairing and power allocation in multiple NOMA users scenario under minimum rate constraints. Simulation results show that our proposed Q-NF pairing scheme and optimum power allocation coefficient strategy outperform the other user pairing and power allocation strategies in terms of total sum-rate capacity, overall-bit error rate (BER), and outage probability.
