Design of dual-band one-sided directional antenna for 5G communication

This paper presents the 5GHz and 28GHz dual-band antenna for the 5G application by combining two one-sided directional slot antennas. It is composed of the slot antenna on the top metal and the bottom floating metal layer. Coplanar waveguide is utilized as a feeding line. Firstly, the 5GHz and 28GHz single-band one-sided directional slot antennas are designed. Next, both antennas are combined by using CPW blanched line in order to realize the dual-band operations. Antenna size is 37.5*50mm.
