A new attack detection scheme based on ellipsotope

This paper considers the abnormal intrusion detection issue for linear systems with unknown-but-bounded (UBB) noises which belong to ellipsotope set. The ellipsotope combine the advantages of ellipsoid and zonotope. Then, in order to detect the malicious cyber attacks, the ellipsotope-based approach is designed and the strategy is characterized by the residue always remains inside the ellipsotope set when the system is attack free. In addition, compared with the zonotope-based detection approach, our method have better sensitivity. Finally, a quadrotor UAV control system is employed to illustrate the effectiveness of the main results.
