Design and Application of Power Communication Terminal Based on 5G

The characteristics of 5G communication, such as high speed, low delay, and large connection, can meet the massive end perception communication requirements of new power systems. Based on 5G communication and combined with the characteristics of power grid business, a 5G communication terminal supporting end-to-end networking with multiple interfaces is designed, and a scheme of using the 5G+WAPI communication terminal to achieve power information data collection and regulation is proposed and tested. The test results show that the 5G communication terminal can meet the environmental requirements of the pilot site, has good communication transmission performance, can effectively carry power regulation and control services, and has broad application prospects in the power system.
