Predictive Analysis of Monthly Flood Variables in the Palangkaraya Area Using Multiple Regression Methods and MLR, NN, KNN, Random Forest, SVM Algorithms

Indonesia is a tropical area; weather forecasting is a challenge. Weather can be affected by temperature, air pressure, wind speed, wind direction, humidity, and precipitation. The multiple linear regression approach can predict rainfall precipitation. Rainfall is the dependent variable in this study, with temperature, humidity, irradiance, and wind speed as independent factors. The January to June 2023 dataset shows a minimum pressure value of 23.3 nPa on January 20, 2023, a minimum temperature value of 32 C on January 20, 2023, and a maximum pressure value of 25.3 nPa on May 20, 2023. 38.8 mm of rain fell on the ground on April 20, 2023.
