Lattice Change Computation Model of Population Competition Relationship

Spatial changes can affect biodiversity in the model. In one-dimensional space, territory only expands or shrinks as the number of cells changes. In two-dimensional space, territory has many different complex growth modes. To circumvent these complexities, a lattice model is proposed here. The region model is a continuous model that includes two basic characteristics: non-overlapping space and the coupling of nutrients within the surrounding environment through diffusion. Moreover, this paper establishes a competition model for diversity: within a region, nutrients continue to diffuse and various cells continuously absorb nutrient resources. This model is spatially clear, and most importantly, there is no infiltration between competing cell populations, as tumor cells compete for various nutrients and territorial space. Here, it is shown that the lattice model can reproduce the cell population diversity pattern. In addition, lattice models are easy to generalize to two dimensions, allowing you to understand how dimensions affect the characteristics of the model.
