Implementation of Goods Loss Prevention Tools Using Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS)

Loss of product for companies has become commonplace, lost product loss will occur, but if this product loss continues without any prevention, the company will continue to suffer losses. The research method used is the Qualitative Method and the Literary Study Method, namely going directly to the field to make direct observations of the lost products and also utilizing information sources as reference books and scientific articles. The technology used is the EAS (Electronic Article Survival) system, which is a technology that is applied by devices to prevent theft or reduce theft cases from retail stores. The type of EAS used is the Security Tag. With the application of this technology is expected to prevent and reduce the occurrence of product loss at the Supermarket in Ciledug.
