Many local governments disregard the rules for garbage management. Our team developed the SMART BINS to revolutionize and solve the country's rubbish problems in order to address this issue. It combines IoT and Image Processing technology. This adaptable machine boasts attributes like low space consumption and user-friendliness. It assures 100% automatic garbage sorting using the Single Shot Detection (SSD) method and provides real-time statistics and mobile notifications via a Wi-Fi module. Trash sorting is made effective by a rail and ball-bearing mechanism. As a result of tests validating the device's effectiveness, SMART BINS is now recognized as a significant innovation in Philippine trash management.
