Effects Social Media Analytics at Thousand Island (A Case Study Approach)

The Thousand Islands is one of the popular tourist attractions in Indonesia, especially for people who want to have a vacation or family in the Thousand Islands. Still, Thousand Islands' social media has yet to be fully used, especially Instagram. This research will conduct social media analysis to increase engagement, especially on the Thousand Islands' social media, Instagram, to improve visitors to the Thousand Islands. This research takes the scope of Instagram and uses secondary data obtained from the Thousand Islands to be analyzed. The paper adopts a descriptive research design for this study. The data collected in support of this work was found using websites such as analisa.io, inflact.com, and manual data mining of Instagram for the third option. The Author has found some results from past data collection in this study. The Author describes the data in the development and discussion section. With the result of this data, the Author checks the data and then summarizes it into a perspective that a researcher can understand. One of the Author's conclusions obtained from the Thousand Islands' social media is that PSO has the highest engagement compared to other social media. PSO social media has an engagement of 1.35%, which proves that this social media often interacts with people on social media and has the most likes and comments.
