IoT Based Ignition System By Insertion And Verification of Driving License

The goals of this project are to primarily reduce the frequency of accidents caused by citizens who do not hold a valid driving license and drastically reduce instances of vehicle theft. This is achieved by interlinking the license verification of citizens with the ignition system of vehicles achieved by the means of an mobile application and an IoT system comprising of various sensors and components. The project demands the license and fingerprint of the user and utilizes a biometric sensor, card reader for physical verification. It also consists of an Alcohol a Seatbelt sensor and a door-lock sensor which operates after when both the Application and physical verification of the Driver's License is a success. The vehicle turns on iff and only if all the parameters provide a satisfactory result. For the remaining cases the vehicle will not be turned ON.
