IoT Based Healthcare with a Non-Invasive Diabetes Testing System

Invasive diabetes testing methods offer limitations such as discomfort, infection risk, delayed findings, and a lack of real-time monitoring. There are numerous non-invasive Internet of Things-based technologies for remotely tracking a patient’s blood glucose levels. This article outlines the creation of an IoT-based health system that includes non-invasive diabetes testing equipment that can measure the patient’s glucose level and upload the data to a server for future monitoring. This technology will collect data from the patient’s body and send it to an Internet of Things cloud platform. This makes the information available from any location with an internet connection. The study employs non-invasive Near-Infrared (NIR) Spectroscopy for diabetes detection and monitoring. The IR sensor is used for NIR spectroscopy, providing a painless experience by being attached to the index finger. The sensor uses IoT technology to offer real-time blood sugar level measurements on LED panels and Android devices. The non-invasive diabetes testing method has the potential to improve patient outcomes as well as revolutionize diabetes monitoring and treatment.
