A Dijkstra-based routing algorithm in Software-Defined Satellite Networks

Satellite communication networks face the challenge of load imbalances due to their rapid expansion and increasing traffic volume. In this paper, we present an innovative approach that uses a Dijkstra-based routing algorithm on Software-Defined Satellite Networks to address this challenge. Our algorithm achieves effective load balancing and significant delay reduction by leveraging the advantages of software-defined networking. We conduct a comprehensive analysis to evaluate the performance of our algorithm and compare it with existing solutions. Our results show that our algorithm outperforms the state-of-the-art in load balancing and delay mitigation, making it a promising solution for the future of satellite communication.
