Design and Application of Ultra-High Voltage Cable Digital Twin System Integrating Multi-Source Data

Conventional power cable fault location methods are not reliable enough. First of all, this article selects appropriate monitoring sensors and wireless transmission devices based on the environment in which the ultra-high-voltage cable digital twin system is located. This article uses two transmission methods, LoRa and NB-IoT, to implement data sending and receiving based on LoRa (Long Range Radio) and NB-IoT (Narrow Band Internet of Things). Then, this article preprocesses the collected data, performed real-time monitoring and early warning of the data, and finally uses human-computer interaction technology to visualize the data. In node 4, the accuracy is 98.7% in the first minute and 97.7% in the second minute. Research shows that timely elimination of ultra-high voltage cable faults is the most reliable way to ensure the stable, safe and efficient operation of the power grid.
