Development and deployment of an alert system for anomaly heat detection in Industrial Machinery

Equipment overheating has become a major issue in large companies, especially in the petrochemical industry. A failure or breakdown in electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electromechanical machinery used in manufacturing or treatment operations raises its working temperature. This might cause a catastrophic breakdown at any time. The person worries about equipment temperature monitoring and maintenance. To predict device failure, a temperature-sensitive actuator with an energetic material is chosen. A heat exchange actuator is placed in thermal contact with the device. If the machine reaches the predetermined temperature, the actuator will flash a flag or produce a passive warning signal. The ATMEGA328 microprocessor receives data from the LM35 temperature transducer. Microcontroller processes data and displays temperature on the Liquid Crystal Display panel at regular intervals. The LCD has a seven-segment screen that can display three numbers. Setting and adjusting temperature limits is easy with four push buttons. Using the set button, the user can increase or decrease machine temperature. The alarm system varies with temperature. Elevated temperatures fall into three categories. When the temperature is 1 or lower, the LED lights up. If the temperature exceeds the second threshold, two LEDs will light up and a buzzer will ring. If the temperature exceeds the predefined setpoint and reaches the third threshold, two LEDs will light up, a buzzer will play, and the GSM module will send an SMS warning to the designated mobile number.
