Among the benefits include real-time product tracking, environmental sustainability, enhanced production, and cost savings. The use of blockchain technology in a three-tiered Supply Chain Network (SCN) shows promise in terms of boosting supply chain transparency and security. The SCOR model is also discussed as a comprehensive framework for optimising supply chain processes. However, concerns such as data privacy, security, and employment displacement must be solved before firms can fully reap the benefits of new technologies. Overall, embracing these innovations has the potential to revolutionise supply chain management and create trust among stakeholders.
