The central issues of safety are crucial to human well-being and social stability. Primarily, security serves the protection of human life and property. Security is intricately connected with issues pertaining to environmental, transportation, and workplace safety. Security covers digital areas such as cyber security, as well as physical security and human resources. The emergence and deepening integration of new technologies has revolutionised security and defence paradigms, opening up new dimensions in threat management and defence strategy design. The focus of this research is on security awareness and trust in digital technologies, which play a critical role in the digital lives of individuals.
