Exploring knowledge of the agile approach through primary research 1

The Agile approach has become widespread in recent years, in particular thanks to the Agile Manifesto of 2001. It first gained prominence in the software development sector, but is now being applied in many other sectors. This growing popularity is mainly driven by the increasing need for effective change management and flexibility. As a result, the agile approach has become a knowledge that is in demand and from which we can benefit, both in the labour market and in our daily lives. Agility and an agile mindset have become one of the leading competences of the 21st century, applicable to all aspects of life. Initially, agility and agile thinking were more a concern for organisations, but now it is also important at an individual level. The aim of this study is to examine the awareness of agile mindset through a generational lens, in the light of a questionnaire survey conducted in Hungary.
