Analysis of the Action Characteristics of the First and Second Fusion Fast Vacuum Switch

In order to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power system, when a short circuit fault occurs, it is necessary to add a safe, reliable and responsive protective device to the operating line to quickly cut off the short circuit current. Based on phase controlled switch technology, the factors affecting the dispersion of the closing process of phase controlled switches are analyzed, and the closing characteristics of fast repulsion mechanisms are studied. Methods to reduce the dispersion of phase controlled switch closing are studied, achieving precise opening and closing operations, reducing the impact of switch operations on the transient characteristics of the power system, reducing adverse factors such as overvoltage and inrush currents, significantly improving the transient characteristics of the system, and improving power supply reliability.
