A New Kind of Seamless Fabric Setting Machine and Its Numerical Control System

As China's printing and dyeing industry completes its technological transformation, the adoption of advanced boarding machine control technology becomes a pivotal approach to further save energy and reduce consumption. The NEU sizing machine, explored in this paper, represents a significant structural innovation. The transmission surface of the shaped fabric is designed vertically with a round track, and the horizontal design of the three-axis linkage sizing actuator is automatically controlled. In terms of process technology, integrated innovation has formed a three-in-one shaping process encompassing edge correction, size setting, and ironing and leveling, and developed a multifunctional post-finishing process technology with three-axis linkage. By analyzing the operational logic of the shaping machine, a NEU intelligent shaping control system is developed to control the motion of the shaping machine. In the comparison of the production efficiency of similar products produced by different types of equipment, the production efficiency of manual steam ironing shaping was 55%, steam tank shaping achieved 65%, while the operation shaping method discussed in this article demonstrated an impressive 86% production efficiency. This seamless fabric setting machine solved all design defects of the Tecnopea setting machine in Italy, indicating that its overall technical performance reached the international leading level.
