A Comparative study on IoT based Communication Protocol for effective Implementation of LoRa

The Long Range (LoRa) technology is one of the successful protocols for communication between IoT applications, M2M (Machine to Machine), V2V (Vehicle to Vehicle) and also with the human operated remote system management over existing technologies. This technology provides better communication between two entities with a long range and very low power consumption. The main objective of this paper is to make a seamless communication between operator and truck drivers at dumping sites using LoRa technology where operators can send messages from the control room to drivers. This paper gives an idea to provide drivers with a visual message rather than a voice command for avoiding miscommunication. Including outdoor gateway with generated ecosystem for multiple LoRa nodes i.e multiple truck drives. As compared to other standardized wireless solutions such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, 3G/4G cellular network and more specifically with Narrow band IoT(Nb-IoT), etc. this research concludes with the recommendation that LoRa provides great transparency over this domain.
