Design of a Process Plug-in Based Framework - Plugin Radar Display and Control Terminal Architecture

Radar has been widely used in many sectors such as air and sea transportation, weather observation, regional mapping, monitoring air and sea territorial, defence, and prevention of illegal activities. The radar display and control terminal, as a window for radar human-machine information and operation interaction, needs to be able to quickly respond to different combat tasks and have flexible and reconfigurable functions. Based on this operational requirement, this article proposes a framework based on process plugins - plug-in radar display and control terminal architecture, which integrating data, display, and different application services into the radar display and control terminal through independent process plug-ins monopolizes process resources. The collapse of process plug-ins does not affect the stable operation of the system, ensuring functional isolation, independence, and scalability. By loading different combinations of plug-ins through the integration framework, software reconstruction functions for different combat tasks are achieved. It meets the flexibility, efficiency, and scalability requirements of the system, effectively improving the efficiency of software development, and has good results in practical use and high practical significance and promotion value.
