A Motion Target SAR Imaging Algorithm Based on Back-Projection and Scene Segmentation: Enhancing SAR Imaging of Moving Targets through Advanced Back-Projection and Scene Segmentation Techniques

This paper presents an imaging algorithm for moving targets in airborne video synthetic aperture radar (SAR). The purpose is to address the problem of imaging multiple moving targets with different parameters in video SAR. The proposed method segments the imaging scene into multiple sub-scenes, and performs separate imaging for each sub-scene based on different velocity parameters. Under high-frame-rate video SAR conditions, the efficiency of the algorithm can be improved by imaging only the regions of interest, taking advantage of the characteristics of back-projection(BP). This method provides an imaging algorithm for targets with different velocity parameters at the same distance, and can adapt to imaging requirements under large squint angles. Finally, this paper uses a GPU-based parallel computing framework to further improve the efficiency of the algorithm.
