Matching Modeling and Parameter Influence Analysis of PTMS and Turbofan Engine

The Power and Thermal Management System (PTMS) is usually driven by the electrical power provided by the aeroengine and the compressor bleed air during aircraft flight, and performs functions such as cockpit cooling and pressurization, and airborne electronic equipment cooling. The work of PTMS and the aeroengine is mutually matched, and matching parameters are important to system performance. In order to study the impact of matching parameters of PTMS and aeroengine on system performance, firstly, the matching characteristics between PTMS and aeroengine are analyzed. Secondly, a matching system model is established based on the component method. Finally, based on the model, the impact of each matching parameter on system performance is studied. The simulation results show that within the given operating range, the rotor speed of PTMS and the total inlet pressure of the environmental control part are positively correlated with the impact of PTMS on the performance of aeroengine; The power supply of aeroengine to PTMS and the total outlet temperature of PTMS combustion chamber are negatively correlated with the impact of PTMS on aircraft engine performance. The simulation results can provide a theoretical basis for performance matching analysis and optimization of the system.
